Background Before House of Boards: Before this, I spent four years practically living inside industrial machine shops, obsessively mastering raw materials to build the elite technical and aesthetic foundation needed to launch a global empire. I spent four years in design college skipping regular classes to master every single industrial machine in the workshop, driven by a raw obsession to create physical products from scratch.
The Origin Story: Rome wasn’t built in a day, and to eventually design a customer's entire home, you must start with the perfect first brick. I engineered our luxury hosting boards to win their trust during their most social moments, proving that the objects you keep should reflect your true character.
Founder Journey: I realized that someone, somewhere had to design the world's first table, chair, or charcuterie board - and I knew with absolute certainty I was meant to be that person bringing iconic new creations to the world. My biggest challenge was having to learn absolutely everything from scratch—it felt like trying to invent fire but spending endless time just searching for the right stone. In that search, I had to learn that there are a hundred different ways to do a single task, and finding the absolute perfect way was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
