It's pretty cool and exciting transitioning from corporate jobs to academics and then becoming a startup founder. Learning from IIT Delhi, IIM Bangalore, and GuSec made the journey interesting. I found many founders along the way who became my support system through any problem.
I have played many roles before becoming a founder. My journey started in a chemistry lab after my PhD. I joined a food lab as an analyst, then worked in a Danish company as a research scientist, and eventually became a professor of chemistry.
The idea originated during COVID when everyone was making their own food, but no clean snacking options were available in the market to increase immunity. Big brands were making false claims—what was written on the front pack and the actual ingredients told a completely different story.
That’s when Nutbeez was born: a millet, nuts, and seeds-based unique combination of clean snacking that delivers both taste and health.

Wish I Knew Earlier
There are many challenges. But without challenges, no startup can scale. There were challenges in getting listed on Amazon and Blinkit, in the supply chain, and dealing with low MOQs since no vendor was ready to supply small quantities.
