I am Akshay Suresh Girigosavi from Badlapur, Mumbai. My journey into the world of technology and digital marketing is a story driven by curiosity, resilience, and an unshakable determination to succeed.
The Early Spark My fascination with technology began when my grandfather gifted me my first computer. That moment changed everything. I became deeply curious and started exploring, learning, and understanding technology on my own. However, despite this passion, I lacked proper guidance on how to turn it into a career.
After completing my 12th grade, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts along with a friend. During this phase, I co-founded a Rotaract Club, where I took responsibility for marketing, public relations, graphic design, and video editing. My contributions were recognized when our team received the “Best Board of Directors” award in the club’s very first year. This experience ignited my interest in digital platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp, although I was still unsure how to build a career around them.
The Turning Point After graduation, I spent two years preparing for competitive exams, only to realize that this path was not meant for me. In 2016, I joined ICICI Bank, but soon discovered that sales was not aligned with my strengths.
Determined to explore something of my own, I ventured into entrepreneurship by starting an ice cream franchise. The business showed promising growth initially, but the 2020 pandemic brought unexpected challenges. What was supposed to be a short break turned into a prolonged shutdown, leading to significant losses and eventually forcing the business to close.
During this difficult period, I turned to the internet and discovered digital marketing. As I started learning, I realized this was the field where my passion and potential truly aligned. This realization became a turning point in my life.
Building a Career in Digital Marketing I began my journey with an unpaid internship, where I focused on learning as much as possible. In 2021, I secured my first role as a Digital Marketing Executive, which helped me strengthen my skills and gain practical industry experience.
With growing confidence, I took a bold step and founded my own agency, Spreadify Digital Marketing Pvt Ltd, in 2022. Starting with small clients, I successfully delivered projects and built a strong foundation. In 2023, I briefly shifted back to a full-time job to gain further exposure, but in 2024, I reignited my entrepreneurial journey with renewed focus.
I successfully onboarded ten major clients and managed their projects independently. To scale operations and build a stronger vision, I partnered with a close friend as a co-founder. Together, we began shaping Spreadify into a structured and growth-driven agency. Our goal is expand our services to a larger scale.
Looking Ahead From self-learning and overcoming failures to building a growing digital marketing agency, my journey reflects persistence, adaptability, and continuous learning. Spreadify is more than just a business—it represents resilience, innovation, and the belief that with the right mindset, any challenge can be transformed into an opportunity.

Top Advice
My advice to young builders is simple: don’t quit easily. Whatever your idea is, commit to it and keep working on it consistently. The journey will not be easy, and there will be moments of doubt—both from others and from within—but don’t let that stop you.
Believe in your own vision and trust your abilities. Build at your own pace, learn from your mistakes, and stay focused on your goals. Most importantly, never let anyone else’s doubts become your reality. Stay strong, stay patient, and keep moving forward.
Wish I Knew Earlier
The biggest challenge I faced was when I decided to start my own company. Whenever I shared this idea with my family and friends, most of them doubted me. They believed I wasn’t capable of building something on my own. Despite their opinions, I had strong confidence in my skills and experience, which motivated me to move forward independently and take the leap.
However, the journey was not easy. The most difficult phase was acquiring my first client. It took me nearly six months of consistent effort, persistence, and belief to finally onboard my first client in 2024. That moment was a turning point for me.
What makes this achievement even more special is that the same client continues to work with us even in 2026. This long-term relationship is a result of the trust we built and the consistent results we delivered through our company.
